No actually the oxycontin will have the basically the same symptoms, if not taken as directed. Oxycontin is a synthintic opium.
Did you just ask the person if they are using heroin.

Yes. Using Oxycontin will take away the withdrawal symptoms of heroin.

Having been a heroin addict before, I know that OxyContin will completely take away any symptoms of withdrawal. I used to only use prescription painkillers, including OC’s regularly, which eventually led to my heroin addiction. My friends and I used to tell everyone we were on OC’s so they did not know we were actually addicted to heroin. OC’s are just a very slight step down from heroin. They are still a powerful opiate. We even used to inject boiled down OC’s in the same manner as heroin. So, if someone is using OC’s, they will show very little if any signs of withdrawal. They can very likely use it to try gaining control over their heroin addiction or to lessen/remove withdrawal symptoms.

    Good Luck!
