For eight years left wing nuts have been jumping up and down about George Bush snorting cocaine.
Now that their man has admitted to abusing cocaine, crack, and alcohol, and at one point in his life on the verge of being a total junkie (don’t believe me, read his book), suddenly past drug use is no longer an issue for lefties.
Why the double standard?

Because the liberal media and the majority of the conservative media are pampering Obama like a spoiled child who wants candy. They are keeping quiet and not saying anything because Obama has spin doctors who influence both the conservative and liberal media and make it the “in” thing to leave Obama alone. If you go to hard on him, you start to become abit of a pariah. Thats why even his pastor tearing america apart , got swept under the carpet. Also last night on the news, they devoted like 10 seconds to Obama`s aid working with a fundamentalist islamic imam, and being kicked out because of it(he was only kicked out for being caught by someone else). But McCain takes a flight on a business jet with a friend who happens to be female, and its all over the news?
i dont think they think its really all that important. but they believe that his constituents care about that stuff. so they throw it out there hoping that a couple simply wont show up to vote.
THe reality is that both dems and repubs like to party. I worked for a certain senator a while ago who was a republican, and lets just say that she through the best bi-partisan parties of all.
Because Republicans have long been adamant in their anti-drug policies. There is hypocrisy from Bush’s drug abuse that is lacking in Obama’s.
The double standard is the credo of the “progressives”.
We should never drill off the coast. We should allow limited drilling off the coast.
When Barry chanted his change mantra, they didn’t realize the change he was talking about was his mind daily.
one person admits it. the other denies, refuses to talk or “cant remember” it.
i have more trust for someone who is up front about things.
Because liberals have double standards for their messiah.
Because unlike Bush, Obama doesn’t want to throw all drugs users lengthy jail sentences.
Bush ran on “values”.
They wouldn’t be liberals if they weren’t dishonest hypocrites.

Ya I noticed that they have been none stop hitting Bush about that and there wasn’t even any proof but notice thats dried up now that their guy has actuly admitted to it it’s no longer an issue
