I’m looking for statistics regarding the mortality rate of individuals using illegal drugs such as heroin, cocaine, etc. and any other statistics about their standard of living after using such substances.

This is the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) website.
They keep a lot of info like that on file (unfortunately they don’t seem to be making a dent in actually stopping the flow of drugs into this country).
I’m still for legalizing all of it. It would drop the prices so low that drug lords would no longer be able to maintain small armies, users would no longer be committing crimes to get their fix, and we could spend the money we currently waste on educating people.
It’ll never happen – but it’s a nice dream…
