My younger brother who is 12 has the following symptoms: somewhat high fever, having a hard time swallowing food, tightness in the throat, coughing. Are these the symptoms of strep throat and what other symptoms should I look for? Thanks! There will be a best answer given out!!

chills ,fever, sore (reallysore) throat
swollen lymph nodes in the neck
sometimes nausea and vomitting
has he been in contact with someone who has it
caused from airborne droplets or direct contact
better be tested to be sure
they will usually take a swab
Severe and sudden sore throat without coughing, sneezing, or other cold symptoms.
Pain or difficulty with swallowing.
Fever over 101 F; lower fevers may indicate a viral infection and not strep.
Swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
White or yellow spots or coating on the throat and tonsils.
Bright red throat or dark red spots on the roof of the mouth at the back near the throat.
Swollen tonsils, although this symptom may also be caused by a viral infection
