LSD and mushrooms only elevate your heart rate if you get jumpy or are laughing your head off. I agree with Jon mostly. I find that on LSD my heart speeds up if I am scared for a second, like finding out through touching that the aquafina cap your looking at is actually a mushroom growing in the woods.... Magic mushrooms are like LSD and can speed your heart when confused or scared. I find the most physical effect of mushrooms is sweating, which happens profusely till about 4 hours into a trip, when it slows down.
