Should Individuals Who Abuse Prescription Drugs Serve The Same Penalty As Those Who Abuse Controlled Substance?

Filed in Category Symptoms of Pill Use

Yeah, I think so. Mabey even a harsher penalty because their missuse of prescription meds make it so much harder for those who actually have a genuine need for these drugs to get access to them.

All prescription drugs are contolled substances. There are 5 levels of controlled drugs. CI drugs are drugs tha have no adccepted medical use in the US (ex. heroin). CII drugs have accepted medical use but are highly addictive (ex. oxycontin, adderall, morphine). CIII – CIV drugs are less addictive but still considered controlled substances (ex. klonopin, xanax, vicodin, etc) CV drugs are all other prescription drugs, so to answer your question, yes because they are the same thing.
