I was just wondering if you took Darvocet as prescribed and not abuse it, could you take it indefinitely and not cause any long time effects. Meaning use it as needed for two years???

Flesh-colored bikini in “Memory Keeper’s Daughter”?

I was reading “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter” by Kim Edwards and there was an emphasis on a character, Norah, wearing a flesh-colored bikini on a beach with her husband and kid.
I feel like I’ve never seen anyone (nor have I) ever worn a flesh-colored swimsuit. Is it normal? Or is it her character being slutty? (She’s a middle-aged mother of a 13 year old boy who, incidentally, cheats on her husband many times.)
Or was it for David’s photography shoot specifically? I just find her character (quiet-meek-housewife to seductive-sex-addict to unrealistically-successful-businesswoman) really annoying and unreal. If it weren’t for her, I’d like the book.

Yes ever since we were dating he played this game and it seemed to get worse and worse like him playing it till 2 to 3am every day.. world of warcraft. after 2 years of dating we got married now i thought he would of grown up by then. hes a marine sometimes he works 14 hours a day and when hes home he goes immediatly to wow and plays it till 4am. im sick of this. i am a house wife but i would like to spend time with my hubby and i shouldnt have to clean on the weekends hes off and i think he should help. i feel like i am losing him. he doesnt help me clean doesnt do shit. all he cares about it seems is that game and himself. idk what to do anymore ive tried unplugging the internet when he was on one day and he got angry at me and didnt talk to me.. help!! we have only been married almost 9 months and im more depressed then ever. he says no to counsiling he thinks im not serious when i bring up leaving him. i do have a problem sometimes when i am serious i tend to laugh because im adhd and idk what to do. anyone can help me?

My wife recently left me after 24 years of marriage. She had become addicted to meditation spending 6 to 8 hours in deep meditation each day. She became a different person and didn’t seem to be able to relate on an emotional level. It was like she was drugged or flattened in personality. She was also trying to channel information from her higher self and my fear is that she may have gone too far and become mentally ill. Now she is cut off from me and our daughter.Can meditation have a down side?
