Filed in Category Symptoms of LSD Use
On September 17th of this year I did three hits of LSD. About three weeks after that I was full blown into my first manic episode. Two weeks ago I crashed into full blow depression. Basically my doctor is telling me I might not really be bipolar it just might be a drug related psychosis and if I never use any drugs again that I might never show symptoms of bipolar again. Is this true? Or did the drugs actually trigger Bipolar disorder and I’m just going to continue having it for the rest of my life.

If episodes are clearly related to drugs it is not considered Bipolar. Stop doing drugs and if you stay stable then you have nothing to worry about.
