Has anyone gone through this? For any drug.
Sounds like one of the most terrifying and painful experiences on Earth.

I think this a hard question to answer for lots of people. There are so many different kinds of drugs..legal or illegal. Most of the illegal drugs have a hard withdraw effect on the body and mind. And of course there are the “legal” drugs that get abused which will give you a withdraw when you stop taking them.Pain killers are a main culprit of this. But to be honest I’ve had withdraw problems from many drugs that I have been on for awhile. That is why when your on medication for awhile for any reason a doctor will slowly decrease/wean you off it.I have to take steroids for my Asthma occasionally, and you need to be slowly weaned off them because of the withdraw effects to your body if you don’t.My personal effects have ranged from really bad headaches that last for days to vomiting, shakes, etc…
Basically it all comes down to what the drug is,how long you’ve been using it,how you stopped taking it(weaned/cold turkey),some withdraw symptoms you may not even notice, some could even kill you.Don’t try this at home to find out the difference,it’ll never be worth it.Stay sober/straight,life is more fun.Hope this helps
i personally haven’t but i have seen close friends battle prescription pill addictions. Its a horrible situation because the pills are legal and prescribed to them. It takes A LOT to quit. The physical and mental withdrawals are intense. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
I’ve gone thru it for stopping my prescription meds. I felt horrible for a couple weeks, like I was constantly going to throw up, dizzy flashes, lightheaded, couldn’t concentrate, etc. I can’t imagine going thru it for harder drugs.
