It’s not a cure for anything. Just do a search on medical marijuana and you’ll find plenty on it and how it can HELP the pain from several conditions. Here’s one site to start:http://www.drugwarfacts.org/medicalm.htm
Everything you need to know. No spin. Only facts. Link.
it ain’t a cure for anything but it does ease symptoms from certain things
Sorry it really has no redeeming features.
It increases the risk of mental disorders including depression and schitzophrenia. It also causes significant physical brain damage in chronic users, atrophy, (brain shrinkage) which leads to increasing levels of dementia.
Aware of these issues, this increasing odd Labour Government lowered its legal status, thus sending out all the wrong messages to its confused and addicted suppoters.
depends on the disease or symptom, it actually saved my life and the life of my son, I had to take it when I was pregnant because I was allergic to legal antinauseants, it was the only thing that worked! Throwing up 30 to 50 times a day was brutal, I couldn’t believe it was even possible, I literally became suicidal before I found the cure (suggested by doctor at the hospital) – now i have a happy, healthy, intelligent son, and have become a huge supporter of legalization.
It also helps cancer patients be able to curb their nausea and eat, (vomiting and loss of appetite is a common problem for chemo patients, and often causes them to decline so badly that treatment must be stopped) no other drug has the ability to cause the munchies!
I’m sure you already know Rachel is wrong, if you’re doing research on the subject, it is not more dangerous than cigarettes, much less, actually, and many people do use filters, but a water bong is the safest and most effective way to get the drug into your system – eating it takes too long to be effective, and if vomiting is the problem, it’s obviously no good to eat it, and attempts to produce a THC pill failed because they were too strong.
In many cases it is the most efficient and effective drug available, whether due to allergies to other drugs or to the fact that it provides what many other drugs can’t.
MJ is not a cure. It is actually more dangerous then cigeretts only because it is smoked with ou a filter, but….. heres the fun part, MJ can be used for sever menstral cramps, glacoma(eases the pressure off the eyes,) cancer for pain, and its just plain relaxing. So there are a few things to look up.
What I can tell you is that I have suffered from depression and sometimes anxiety for years. I have tried different pharmaceuticals and thereapists. None have really helped beyond short term.
I have an ‘alternative’ bent anyway.
I have used marijuana and have found it to be the most effective thing yet.
Because of a respitory condition, I have learnt to eat it. It is fat soluble, so I brown it in oil and consume it on an empty stomache.
It is part of a program that includes a vegetarian diet, mostly organic. Little or no wheat – this is important.
Yoga, lots of meditation, long walks – walking, fresh air something aerobic is really important as well. There is no substitute for fitness.
But the pot has been a huge help. By eating it, it lasts for hours in my system. Waves of tension and fear are re-leased.
Spiritually, it has helped me evolve. And it has been a real and permanent experience.
I have been able to re-imprint certain mental and emotional scripts. And have been able to gain control and get my power and my spirit back.
And again, this has been a struggle for many years.
It is still work, it is still ongoing. But I have found something that has brought healing and I am confident an eventual cure.
I am the first to state that it may not be for everyone.
And anyone who chooses this path would probably need guidance.
When long held trauma and pain arise it is a powerful, moving and life changing experience.
Quite frankly, I believe this plant is a gift from God.
But it must be used in the right context, it must be used responsibly.
It just so happens to be a great deal of fun.
Working out, interacting with others all those things a person enjoys is so much more enjoyable.
And one can really focus, really be in the moment.
So again, it is part of a healthy lifestyle, not an end in and of itself. But a hugely effective tool. And I think eating it is the way to go. Most people don’t realize how our emotions, blocks and imprints are actually held in our bodies. You don’t realize it until you feel the re-lease.
