side effects, withdrawl symptoms, anything you can tell me i need to know if shes going to be ok, is it as bad as cocaine or heroine? any way to make her see why this isnt ok? i try to talk to her and she and she tries to explain herself but its like she doesnt want to beleive me, like she does but doesnt want to… in the end she just says i dont understand… i dont want to see her ruin her life like this

It’s not nearly in the same class as cocaine or heroin in physical damage, but the long term effects on the mind can be variable and are concerning to me. I know people who have done it hundreds of times, and they are fine. Then, you read the horror stories of some people who end up in the mental lock-down. Studies seem to show that those folks were headed there anyway, and LSD just brought it out of the bag, but you never really know. If she’s doing it once or twice a year, probably not soooo bad, but certainly better to not do it.
i think the worst thing for her right now is having an over bearing friend acting like mommy.
