I used to crack my knuckles not too long ago, but i stopped. The reason why i stopped is because i heard it leads to arthritis. I had noticed my knuckles were getting bigger, but i dont have and havent had any stiffness or pain or any symptoms of arthritis. My knuckles are still bigger than they used to be before cracking, but not as big as they were after i cracked them. Will i get arthritis or am i okay? Will my knuckles go back to normal in time? Please explain! Thank you!

With good nutrition you will be able to prevent any possible arthritis. Your knuckle size will diminish in awhile if you keep up a good healthy diet. However, cracking your knuckles doesn’t actually cause arthritis, but makes it more prone to having it later on because they are weaker. Glad you stopped – cracking your knuckles is a nasty habit and I encourage you to not do it any more.
