A question for women who have been on the contraceptive pill but discontinued use due to unwanted symptoms?

Hi,
I was on the contraceptive pill Brenda for about 6 months and then Yaz for 2 months. The pill caused me to experience sever post nasal drip due to rhinitis induced by hormone changes. I’ve been off the pill for 6 months now and am still experiencing post nasal drip. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about how long, if ever, it will take for these symptoms to disappear. Is it possible i could have developed a permanent condition due to my short period of time on the pill? Any experience or knowledge is appreciate. My doctor doesn’t seem to be able to help.

Sorry to hear of your symptoms.
Ask your doctor to refer you to an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist (ENT). An ENT should be able to define the cause for the ongoing problems and concerns … and also be able to assist you with good and safe treatment.
If your doctor has run out of ideas and options, then only you can ask for a further referral to a specialist. I would think you deserve that specialist opinion, don’t you?
